24th Annual Winter Haven at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center

I had an epic day supporting our area Veterans at the 24th Annual Winter Haven at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Nearly 1,000 Veterans in need came to get health screenings, clothes, prosthetic wigs (Wigs Plus), sleeping bags, tents, food, food access (SHARE Food Network – Carla Yvette), clothes, shoes and Lots of LOVE!!!

Thank you Gloria Hairston for inviting me to be a part of such a relevant and uplifting program – Great Job! It was an added treat to speak with Secretary of Veterans Affairs, Dr. David J. Shulkin, and see the tremendous efforts to better the circumstances of our Veterans.
